Eric Rhein, Richard Anderson, 453 West 17th Street, (212 463-0970 (through Dec.1). Poetic, delicate and, at best, intricately complex assemblages of wire, found jewelry and pages from old books. For an ongoing series called " Leaves" Mr. Rhein has created 155 botanically correct wire outlines of fallen leaves from various species of trees, each a metaphorical tribute to someone who died of AIDS (Johnson).
